These designs were developed using the same system as the 2D pattern generation work. The build software was employed to create a series of randomly generated 2D patterns based on a range of selected shapes. These vector patterns were then used to control a laser cutter. The resulting cut elements interlock to form space dividers/shelving systems.

  • The intention with these works was to use several layers of cut sheet in order to produce a range of randomly created patterns through the interactions between the different layers of 'floral' designs.
